Ayodhya: A General Introduction
According to Ramayana the discovery of ancient city ayodhya is done by policy maker of Hindu (Manu). Since long ancient time it was capital of Surayvansh, whose famous king was lord Ram. In ancient time the name of Ayodhya was Koshaladesh. According to Arthrveda it was developed by gods and it was prosper as heaven.
Ayodhya is a land of history, ancient stories, litreture and beyond these; it is a land of religion and devotion. In present time it is situated at right bank of Saryu river of Uttar Pradesh.
Ayodhya is 8 km far from fazabad city and 130km from Lucknow city. It is situated at 26â—¦-48' eastern latitude and 62â—¦-13/ eastern longitude.
